Second day

“Shine forth"

*this one is for sure shorter then the first one!:)

                                    I woke up to my blanket on me and misty saying “I think Caitlin’s dead!” I can understand why she would say that, I am a heavy sleeper when I’m camping. We all got up and ready then went to breakfast. For breakfast we had breakfast burritos. They were pretty good. We also did flag ceremony. We were supposed to go on stake leveled hikes, but instead we did the ropes course, and Brain freeze hair salon. One of the ropes course activities was where we were all blind folded but one of us wouldn’t be blind folded because they would have to tell us how many steps to take to get to our destination. It was a fun activity. I also like the activity where we had to get from one platform to the other platform by to wooden planks that were each two different sizes and we had to use our weight and we had to defiantly works as a team, well we had to work as a team on most of them.

After doing 4 ropes course actives we went and had an early lunch. We had hotdogs. That’s when Camry left. She had to leave because she didn’t feel too great. She got me sick. But that’s okay because I didn’t get quite as sick as her.

After lunch we went back and finished the ropes course. Which of course was fun. I like doing to teeter tooter one because we really had to work together as a team. We had to get it balanced and we made a deal with the leaders that whoever keeps it balanced the longest they and the people who don’t win have to stick the heads in brain freeze for 5 seconds. And of course the leaders won. It really didn’t bug me that we had to stick our heads in brain freeze for 5 seconds because of how good it felt. I made a record of having my whole head under brain freeze for 21 seconds.

After we completed the ropes course we went and did crafts which were fun too. After crafts it was dinner which was pasta and chicken. I sat by misty and Ashley Williams.  We got to go back and get seconds because we were all still pretty hungry. I even had a very very small little piece of broccoli. Haha.

 Then after dinner was over and we were all full we had a stake devotional that the ycl’s had planned and it was really good.

Everyone had brownies after that. But, not me cause I don’t like chocolate that much. Nadia and I cleaned one of the bathrooms. It wasn’t hard at all. We just had to clean the sinks and the counter. Sister Norwood was in there shining a light because otherwise we wouldn’t be able to see.

When we finished cleaning the bathroom, we went back to our campsite. Sister Norwood was shining the flashlight out in to the distance we were trying to see if we could see any glowing eyes. When Sis.Norwood was shining it on the ground I was chasing after it. Trying to get the light and do shadow puppets.

We when final got back to camp I don’t remember what we did exactly. I think we got ready for bed and had a short ward devotional. But then again I don’t quite remember.

·        I do remember a part I did leave out on either this post or the first day post either the first or second day I got my nickname which is a really cool nickname. (skippidyroo)
