first day at camp:) and pictures

*its pretty long but it has pictures when you get farther down the post and the paragraphs get shorter so dont worry. :):) love you all.:)

The night before for girls camp I finished packing all my stuff, and I was very excited to leave for girls camp the morning.

First day

“Arise”

I was so anxious to go and have fun that Camry and I tried to pull off an all-nighter. We were both tired when we started. We stared texting each other around 9:30 and then actually began then all-nighter around 10; 15-10:40ish. I watched TV on my iPod touch and played Angry birds space while texting Camry.  I stared getting so tired around midnight – 12:30am that I told Camry that I would text her in an hour or so. Well that never happened. Oops. : P

 I feel asleep on the stairs because I wanted to go back upstairs because it was so much cooler. After I got up there I thought I should turn off then alarm clock down stairs in my room so I did just that. When I was back down stairs to turn off my alarm I also grab my iPod touch just in case. Then I went up the stairs and waited I had my big blanket it hand because my favorite one was already pack for camp. I feel asleep on the stairs for a little bit then I woke up at three. Then I went the rest of the way up and slept on my parent’s floor. I woke up again at 5am, and then fell back asleep a few minutes later. After sleeping for like 45 minutes I woke up to my iPod alarm going off. I turned it off and slept for 2-3 more minutes. Then I got up and took a shower. After getting ready except brushing my teeth I ate breakfast then when back into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then I waited like 10-15 minutes then I got my hair done. Then I had to wait like 5-10 minutes to leave because my mom was supposed to work but our Internet was working so my dad quickly got it up and running again then I grabbed my sack lunch and my hat and other things and my dad drove me up to the church. No one was on the side that I thought we were going to meet on so we went to the other side of the church and then I saw AnneaLeigh and I hopped out of the car. And we waited there for a few minutes til we went to the other side of the church and that was where the group eventually showed up.:) Then we got everyone together and stayed a prayer and got into the cars to drive down to JR Properties. 

In the car I rode in it was Sis. Norwood, Sis. Patten, Nadia, Camry and me. We told jokes and laughed and told stories. And were having a great time in the car Nadia put her small pillow out the window and in was blowing in the wind it was so funny.  Then what Nadia didn’t realize was that the pillow could come out of the pouch “pillow case” ha-ha then after we laughed about that we stopped at a gas station down in Provo, I think. Then a few minutes later we were on the road again. Camry put on some make up. I was looking out the window. And I don’t remember what Nadia was doing for the next little bit.  I was starting to get pretty hungry so I had one of my lucky charms cereal bars. I had six cereal bars I gave two to Nadia, two to Camry. And I had the other two cereal bars. I also had smiley face fruit snacks. When we finally were on the road leading up to camp Camry and I really had to go to the bathroom and let’s just say the bumpy road didn’t help, but it was a good back massage.

We went around in a circle twice because we couldn’t find our camp ground. Then after the second round we found it. It felt so good to stand up. We had to set up the tent and get all of our stuff unloaded for the truck. Then when our tent was set up we got to eat. I shared a tent with Annealeigh, Quinn, Nadia, Mickyla, Camry, Ellie and myself. In the other tent it was Brandy, kaya, sierra, Amy, Misty. Then in the other tent it was all the leaders.  Ashley Williams brought up candy. JJ It was yummy. It defiantly made me EXTREMELY HAPPY!! JJ Thank you Ashley.YOU ARE AWESOME!!  I ate all the sugar after all the candy was gone in the bag. 

 After lunch I think we went up to the pavilion and then we did service projects. We made these circular things and we glued paper on to them. The next rotation we sowed bears, they were cut out bear templates and we sowed them together and put fluff in them at the end.

After that I think we had dinner. For dinner it was hamburgers, I think at least. I wasn’t hungry, I think it was because I wasn’t feeling to great and all the snacks I had. So I had broccoli.

After dinner we cleaned up. Then when back to our camp spot. We cleaned dishes and then played all sorts of games. We played ninja and this point game. I loved the “point game.” We did the normal version of it, then ninja and supermodel and I think cowboy because we were pretending we had guns. Ha-ha. Ashley Williams taught us the “point game.”  After games we got ready for bed and had a ward devotional. We even got ice cream!!

During the devotional I sat on misty’s lap because she sat in my baby chair. We all had glow sticks and we were playing with them. I was really glad I brought my fluffy, soft blanket. It kept me pretty warm. After the devotional I let misty sleep with my fluffy blanket. I slept well the first night I was really warm. I wore my owl pj’s of camp pants and camp shirt, I can’t really remember.

·         In my tent we blow up a lot of balloons and were making them squeak and we were throwing them everywhere. :)
